AAAHHHHH the festivities in Mexico for the mothers day. Down here the Mother is the most important person. The kids don’t go to school, nobody works, the banks are closed it is a fucking national holiday. Today we went and ate breakfast at the fanciest hotel in all of Zihua, one of the most fancy in all of North America, Villa Del Sol. Last night at one of the schools that I work at the was a huge party for the moms and the kids had a performance and gave there moms gifts. Killians school has their performance next week. You receive flowers and gifts and more gifts. I don’t know why people from the US don’t celebrate more. They find any excuse in the world to have a party. Every birthday you have is important; every person in your family has its own day, besides their birthday.
Dia Del Niño, holy shit that was a day… there weren’t enough clowns to go to all of the schools. Killian had more parties to go to and more candy to eat then I think humanly possible. I just started throwing it away. It was ridiculous.
Viva Mexico!!!!
