In Efforts To Reconcile

I thought that since my parents have been divorced now for a couple of years that it was time to mend the ways with my father….. So I have called, send postcards, and wrote letters. I haven’t received any phone calls, postcards, or letters from him so I asked My Lil Sister if she knows if he got the letters or postcards that I have send. So she asked him and his response was that since the postcards and letters were for only him and not for him and his new wife that he didn’t have anything to say about it.

I don’t understand where he is coming from, and I don’t really understand why it is even my place to try to improve things with him, when he is the one that made all of the decisions to change the dynamics of what use to be a family.

So I won’t be putting out anymore of an effort and I hope that he gets his head straight before he makes things impossible to fix.

I hope that he is content with living his new life of hypocrisy.
